Let's be honest: Techno was never my kind of music. I come from a rock and metal background, and pop is always good for partying – but techno? I've never been able to relate to it. No connection, no enthusiasm.
And yet… a lot of kinky parties are techno parties. Of course, there are also gothic or rock events, but those tend to be the exception. Latin, R&B, or pop are more common at swinger parties. At least, that's my personal impression.
How it all began
My perspective on techno only changed when I discovered Kinky events—and with them some great DJs. Tabou, Cerin, Yakami Yumi, and Amar, to name just a few, whom I even had the pleasure of meeting in person.
Their sets won me over. They create a unique atmosphere: people dance themselves into a near-trance, skin to skin, in exciting outfits that let each personality shine.
